[edit] A few questions regarding the Mark-Houwink equation article
- In the opening paragraph, does "typical for good solvents" mean "typical of most solvents", or is a "good solvent" a technical term?
- Should the sentence "For most flexible polymers, . For semi-flexible polymers, . For polymers with an absolute rigid rod, such as Tobacco mosaic virus, a = 2.0" read as "For most flexible polymers, . For semi-flexible polymers, . For polymers with an absolute rigid rod, such as Tobacco mosaic virus, K = 2.0"? In other words, should the a's be K's in this sentence?
- What does the phrase "the GPC data is the same for the two different polymers" mean?
