[edit] Club career

He began his career at Ajax before transferring to F. C. Utrecht in the summer of 2004. He made his debut for the club in December, 2004 and preceded to break into the first team. In the summer of 2006, he moved to Feyenoord.

In the 2006-07 season, Tiendalli became injured for the whole season. To give him a chance to get to his top form again, Feyenoord loaned Tiendalli to city rivals Sparta on January 25, 2008 where he is re-united with his former F.C. Utrecht coach Foeke Booy.

He immediately got a place in the starting line-up and he didn't disappoint by playing a solid match both defending and attacking.

In 2006 he was part of the Netherlands squad that won the UEFA U-21 Championship 2006 in Portugal and he was also named in the UEFA Team of the Tournament.
