[dweeb] are a Christian rock band from Coventry in the United Kingdom. Band members are Tim Alford (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), The Badgerman (lead guitar and backing vocals), Matt Donald (bass guitar and backing vocals) and Dave Ashworth (drums). They founded in 2002 and started gigging in 2003. In a MySpace video the lead singer Tim Alford said that [dweeb]'s middle name is danger, making '[dweedangereeb]'.[2]

Founded in 2002 at the Nexus music academy in Coventry, [dweeb] started out as a college project,[3] but felt God was calling them to stay together.[citation needed]

[edit] Singing with the Enemy

In October 2007, [dweeb] participated in BBC Three's reality TV series Singing with the Enemy.[4] In the 60 minute episode they were paired up in a house with a sleaze punk band, Paparazzi Whore, for a week, and had to write, record and perform a song together.
