[edit] John Twelve Hawks page

Thanks so much for editing the John Twelve Hawks page! I normally don't edit Wikipedia at all, but this entry was getting out of hand.

[edit] Giovanni Villani FAC

Ugh! Thanks for putting the image of those flowers before that strikingly ugly Renaissance lady. Lol. Look to the article on Villani now, I have greatly improved it, although it is much shorter now.--Pericles of AthensTalk 18:15, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

I've addressed your concerns once more; look to the article talk page and the FAC discussion page.--Pericles of AthensTalk 17:02, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
Well, I can't find anything substantial on Louis Green, but I was able to start an article on the Toronto Professor Kenneth R. Bartlett, the author that I quoted in the introduction--Pericles of AthensTalk 02:16, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
Thanks!--Pericles of AthensTalk 14:52, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] SlickTommy

SlickTommy: No idea where to put this, so why not under one of my favorite forms of government? Lol.

I took away a comment on Steve Balmer because I though it was derogatory and these things really don't need to be said, when they are not proven fact. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SlickTommy (talkcontribs) 22:20, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

SlickTommy(2nd comment): Whether his statement was brash or not, there really is no use to degrade a person on wikipedia. A lot of similar things were said, however, wikipedia tends to ask questions about mass deletions. If the rebuttals to what Steven Balmer said must be said, the put it under the Iphone article, under criticism. Also, that ugly duchess picture is oddly hilarious. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SlickTommy (talkcontribs) 03:38, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Answer to your message(from sina6002)

Hi, its really hard here to do anything. this pic is on microsoft's website too(in steve ballmer's profile).I don't know anything about image licenses. how can I find what license what image have? and how can I change licenses? I nearly know nothing, and helps in wikipedia are too long :( Sina6002 (talk) 08:20, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] MCF

At User_talk:Arbus_Driver#Moravian_Church_Foundation you wrote:

Hi, I believe Moravian Church Foundation should be moved to Moravian Church foundation, please let me know your thoughts bby responding on my talk page.--Kiyarrllston 11:30, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Greetings. "Foundation" is part of their name. That makes it a proper noun (does it not?) and it is the way they always refer to themselves - see http://www.mcfworld.com/?lang=EN and compare Wikimedia Foundation. Regards, -Arb. (talk) 11:45, 12 February 2008 (UTC).

Dwarf Kirlston's response to the above, my reply and any further conversation is at User_talk:Arbus_Driver#Moravian_Church_Foundation so as to keep it all in the one place. -Arb. (talk) 20:11, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Sergio Vallín

Great job on translating Sergio Vallín. I made some additional changes but I guess we can set it to 100% translated now, since the Spanish version provides no more information. Thanks! ~RayLast «Talk!» 16:16, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Cunt

Just to let you know that following your sterling efforts in relation to this article, another editor has taken the bull by the horns and removed a load of stuff. In one sense, I can't argue that, but I would hope that this is not just throwing the baby out with the bath water. I have reverted him for the time being, pending discussion, if not consensus, and hope you'll pitch in, given your previous input to this article. • As far as I know the "unreferenced" tag is for any time when there are no sources in evidence on the page, not just for stubs. But since I inserted the tag, I guess someone else came and put references there, so I removed the tag. Egpetersen (talk) 12:44, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:Delegable proxy

Hi, I just wanted to inform you that we have taken the Wikipedia delegable proxy experiment live. I encourage you to nominate a proxy. The proxy designation instructions are at Wikipedia:Delegable proxy/Table. For instance, if you wish to nominate me as a proxy, you can just go to User:Dwarf Kirlston/Proxy, create a new page, and then enter:

{{subst:Wikipedia:Delegable proxy/Table/Designate|Absidy}}

You may remember me as User:Sarsaparilla. We worked together on the UN Parliamentary Assembly article. Thanks, Absidy (talk) 07:39, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Islamist (term)

I see you have a history of working on the article Islamist (term). I am looking at it from the project Wikipedia:Unreferenced articles where it is one of the longest {{unreferenced}} tagged articles that does not meet at least the barest minimum of verifiability. It has been tagged and completely without references since June 2006. It would be extremely helpful if you had some references you could add to the article to help support its verifiability and notability. Thanks for any help you can give.

P.S. I do see there is one ref for particular fact, but it does not talk of the term "Islamist" at that I could find. BirgitteSB 21:30, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Creative license redirect

I do not think that Creative license should redirect to creative director - would you mind explaining to me why it should? I believe a more logical redirect would be to creative commons license - thanks for reading this message, please respond in my talk page.--Kiyarrllston 04:12, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

That's fine. I directed it there because it's sometimes used to describe the authority to be creative in an organization. But since it's rarely used that way, a direct to creative commons license is fine. We can always disambiguate later. Oicumayberight (talk) 03:02, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] "China is a country"

Hi, I'm attempting a re-write of the opening of China to resolve the definitional issue that has plagued the article. I noticed that you commented previously on the issue. I've opened a straw poll to gauge whether consensus is to define "China is a country". Could I ask you to comment/vote at Talk:China#Straw poll? --PalaceGuard008 (Talk) 10:00, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Emotions

Responding to your comment on the discussion page: Common sense may appear to indicate that Fear is the opposite of Courage, but in psychological and behavioural terms it certainly isn't. Fear is often said to accompany Courage, which overcomes it in the 'courageous' person. The two emotions are commonly in conflict, yet are not direct opposites. Not all such concepts have opposites. Curiosity, I think, comes under Interest. Centrepull (talk) 12:10, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi, I tried to "resolve" it. Please let me know what you think. I know maybe I should have discussed this, but I don't have much time these days so I chose to be bold. --SidiLemine 09:49, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
