Dwarahat is a town and a nagar panchayat in Almora district in the state of Uttarakhand, India.

As of 2001 India census[1], Dwarahat had a population of 2543. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Dwarahat has an average literacy rate of 82%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 86% and, female literacy is 78%. In Dwarahat, 10% of the population is under 6 years of age. A Govt. Engineering College "Kumaon Engineering College Dwarahat" is also located in Dwarahat.
