Dwan Andre Brown

Dwan Andre Brown is a graduate of the University of Memphis. He was born December 16, 1971 in Mound Bayou, Mississippi. Dwan Brown start his career in real estate in 1993 in Memphis Tennessee. He quickly rose of the ranks of Memphis real estate and founded what was at one time the [2][3] largest minority owned real estate company in Tennessee (Ebony, 1999). As co-owner of American Realty USA in Memphis Tennessee, [2][3]Dwan Andre Brown employed more than 200 real estate professionals. He was also president and ceo of his own investment firm that owned and managed more than 25 million dollars in real estate assets (Ebony, 1999). He real estate holdings spaned 3 states including Illinois, Tennessee and Florida. Dwan Brown is thought to be the youngest african american to every own a franchised hotel (Ramada Inn). He currently resides in Collierville, TN.
