MMDA Traffic Radio 1206 (DWAN 1206 kHz Metro Manila) is an AM station owned and operated by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority. Its studios and transmitter at the agency's Traffic Operations Center at the ground floor of its headquarters in Epifanio de los Santos Avenue corner Orense Streets, Makati City.
The station's aim is to provide information with the latest traffic reports and public service reminders to inform the public through safety tips on how to prevent traffic accidents. It operates 24 hours from Monday to Friday, with Saturdays and Sundays as broadcast-free days.
Prior to MMDA operating the frequency, it was known as DWAN 1206 which was operated by Banahaw Broadcasting Corporation, a company owned by the late Marcos crony Roberto Benedicto and later on by the Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation when BBC was dissolved after the 1986 EDSA Revolution.
