[edit] Welles
Hi Dutchman,
Thanks for the updates on this page - the descriptive phrases were necessary (and I don't know how I missed that before). I have removed some of the links you created, as the page is a disambiguation and serves a different purpose than most pages - and therefore has a different set of guidelines. The goal is not so much to provide information, but to get people to the page they are looking for quickest. Therefore, bluelinks that don't directly help get to the page they are looking for are discouraged. In addition, having too many entries can be a problem, so for Disambiguation pages that have names on them, we usually limit them to names of people who are primarily known by that name. The titled English-folk on the page are reasonable examples - and the director is probably known often as just "Welles." Several of the others are not - most people would enter the full name. I think we need to prune the page. You? You can reply here or on my talk page (John User:Jwy talk) 07:17, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Inline citations
Thanks for the new articles such as Chicago Grand Opera Company, Chicago City Opera Company, and Chicago Opera Companyā€ˇ. It would be great if you could use the inline citations. If you look on my user page you will see several examples of good articles that use inline citation. Many use citation templates. Feel free to ask me any questions about properly citing articles. It is not uncommon for articles to be deleted for not having proper inline citations.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 21:14, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Harvey Swados
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Harvey Swados, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.nybooks.com/nyrb/authors/6488. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 03:24, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
