Talk:Dutty Wine

[edit] Dangers

I was first alerted to this page by the aggressiveness of this edit summary. The user refused to accept point blank the premise of the paragraph and removed it. I referenced it and reinserted it. The same information was then removed again - the user asserted that this is not what actual doctors have said and that the article says nothing about ligament damage. Both of these assertions are patently untrue [1]. I'm now adding a much reduced paragraph only referring to the actual words of the doctors and not to the comments of the writers of the newspaper article - even if it is a tabloid newspaper we can still refer to its quotes and reference it. And I can really see no reason for this not to be included. --Lo2u (TC) 20:58, 16 July 2006

[edit] Spelling

About a month ago, I put "Dirty Wind" (the proper English translation) in brackets. I did this for people who may not understand Caribbean English spelling or pronounciation. Someone keeps changing it from Dirty Wind to "Dirty Wine", but the actual word is spelled "wind", not "wine". Blackjays1 08:16, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
