I'm not sure exactly where the duster regained its popularity from in the 1990's, but I'm fairly certain it wasn't from the J. Peterman catalog - the J. Peterman catalog was the fake catalog Elaine worked for on "Seinfeld." Maybe it was in the L.L. Bean catalog? -L. Greenway, Macon, GA

Can we get a source for the last line? Just because a video game character wears something doesn't automatically mean it's somehow a resurgant fashion force.

The line under discussion is this one, which I have removed on grounds that it's video game fancruft:
Recently, Revolver Ocelot of Metal Gear Solid fame has revived this style of coat in his unique style.
