Dusty Hudock

Dustin (Dusty) Hudock born September 4, 1972 in Cleveland, Ohio is a professional soccer player, who currently plays as goalkeeper with the Charleston Battery.
Dusty started off playing for youth club Arsenal and Deer Valley High School in Phoenix, Arizona. He then went on to play for the University of Washington. There he was awarded two-time all-American.
Dusty then turned pro with A-league side Seattle Sounders were he won the championship in only his second professional season.
Next he joined the Colorado Rapids of the newly formed Major League Soccer (MLS). After a season of limited appearances he returned to Seattle until 1998 when a late call-up by the Chicago Fire got Dusty an MLS championship ring as he was on the bench in the final.
During the time of the 1999 MLS draft it was presumed by many that Tampa Bay Mutiny would sign Hudock, instead Tampa signed Scott Garlick. Dusty entered the MLS Draft and was picked up by the Miami Fusion. Hudock started the first three games of the season until usual starter Jeff Cassar returned from injury.
This is when Dusty started his long time relationship with the Charleston Battery. During his time at the Battery he won the USL1 in 2003,Battery MVP 02,03,04 Battery defender of the year in 01 and 02 and USL Goalkeeper of the year in 02.
In 2005 he left Charleston to join Rochester Raging Rhinos on a 1 year stint. After the season ended he returned to Charleston and remains to this day the Battery no.1
Dusty has also represented the USA in his career with the USA B team in 94-95 and was in the USA world cup qualifier roster in 05.
