Dushore is a borough in Sullivan County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 663 at the 2000 census. Dushore is home to Sullivan County's only traffic light.

Dushore is located at 41°31′31″N, 76°23′60″W (41.525227, -76.399924)[1].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 0.9 square miles (2.3 km²), of which, 0.9 square miles (2.3 km²) of it is land and 1.12% is water.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 663 people, 341 households, and 150 families residing in the borough. The population density was 754.3 people per square mile (290.9/km²). There were 395 housing units at an average density of 449.4/sq mi (173.3/km²). The racial makeup of the borough was 97.74% White, 0.15% African American, 1.21% Native American, and 0.90% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.15% of the population.

There were 341 households out of which 21.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 30.8% were married couples living together, 8.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 56.0% were non-families. 51.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 27.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 1.94 and the average family size was 2.93.

In the borough the population was spread out with 21.0% under the age of 18, 6.5% from 18 to 24, 26.7% from 25 to 44, 22.2% from 45 to 64, and 23.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females there were 79.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 78.2 males.

The median income for a household in the borough was $26,635, and the median income for a family was $41,563. Males had a median income of $31,042 versus $21,125 for females. The per capita income for the borough was $17,448. About 9.0% of families and 14.4% of the population were below the poverty line, including 12.1% of those under age 18 and 17.1% of those age 65 or over.

First settler was Aristide du Petit Thouars, in 1794.
