Durrendel is a gamertag that has been in use by a single individual since 2003 across multiple MMORPG's (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games) and FPS (First Person Shooters). [1]


  • First used with the Phantasy Star Online (PSO) for the Dreamcast, Durrendel was a lv. 55 HUmar belonging to the clan :TFF: (The Freedom Fighters [2]) [3]. Close to the games end, Durrendel split from :TFF: to form his own clan called Team Inferno [4]


  • The next stop for Durrendel was Final Fantasy XI (FFXI), Durrendel was a Taru-Taru Black Mage/Summoner [5] [6] and eventually obtained lv. 47BLM/23SMN as well as a modest ranking in Clothcraft before leaving the game. During that time he was an officer of "Taru-Taru World Order" (website no longer available).


  • During his time in FFXI, Durrendel was also on the front lines of the middle east conflict in Battlefield 2. While never officially guilded, he frequented a few clan servers until his name was commonplace among them. His prefered setup during this time was the Medic class with the upgraded assault rifle and with a combination of the ability to heal those around him and skill with his shooting, quickly made his presence known. During the peak of his play, he broke into the top 5,000 players with the medic kit.
  • As playtime in FFXI became harder to come by, Durrendel turned his attention to a new game where he could play for shorter periods and acomplish alot in that time frame. After looking into and testing a couple different games he decided apon World of Warcraft (WoW) [7] . Through a mistake of his own, the name Durrendel was taken and so he was forced to choose another name for his character. Looking back to his PSO roots he decided apon the name Megido (derived from a kill-spell in PSO called Megid). After picking a name it was time to settle apon a class choice. After being a front-line fighter in PSO, and the the veritable definition of 'squishy' in FFXI, Megido adopted a ranged damaging class and decided to take the part of a Hunter. Durrendel/Megido leveled quickly to 60 with the help of a couple of his friends both in real life, and through his guild at the time <The Left Hand Black>.
