Duru-Verinag is a town and a notified area committee in Anantnag district in the state of Jammu & Kashmir, India.

As of 2001 India census[1], Duru-Verinag had a population of 16,727. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Duru-Verinag has an average literacy rate of 49%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 60% and, female literacy is 36%. In Duru-Verinag, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
