Durham Swans is an Australian Rules Football team that competes in the Aussie Rules UK National League Northern Division[1]. Based in County Durham in the North-East of England, The Durham Swans are the current ARUK Northern Division Champions.

The Durham Swans were founded in the summer of 2007, the inaugural year of the Aussie Rules UK National League. The Swans defeated Newcastle Centurions in the final game of the season to be crowned Northern Division Champions[2] and are hoping to repeat the feat in 2008.

The Durham Swans takes its name, kit and emblem from one of the most successful Australian Rules Football Teams, the Sydney Swans.[3]
