Duranta is the common name of a plant and a genus that contains 17 species of shrubs and small trees that are native from southern Florida to Mexico and South America. It can bear tough weather and is grown for hedge purposes too.
Duranta is used in Pakistan as a hedge or as an ornamental plant.
