[edit] Copyright
Hey, thanks for the info and links in your edit to HD DVD. Please note though that simply copying material from commercial news sites is generally considered a violation of copyright. I've removed the content for now, however, if you'd like to write a short piece summarizing the news (and then linking to the articles as you did), that would be acceptable. If you'd like to learn more about copyright, please read this Wikipedia FAQ, it should answer any questions you have about copyright and fair-use. If you have any other questions, feel free to leave me a message on my user discussion page (here) or respond here and I'll do my best to help. —Locke Cole 15:20, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
- Please respect copyright laws and stop adding copyrighted material to HD DVD. —Locke Cole • t • c 15:38, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] PlayStation 2
Please quit reverting the PlayStation 2 back to the version with all the game screenshots. Excessive use of fair use images is copyright infringement, especially screenshots in an article not directly discussing the games. The images are not needed as they add nothing to the article. If you revert the article again, you may be blocked from editing per the 3RR rule - Thanks Nv8200p talk 14:51, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Blocked
You have been blocked from editing for 3 hours for reverting the Playstion 2 article 3 times in a twenty-four hour period. Please see Wikipedia:Resolving disputes. -Thanks Nv8200p talk 15:32, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Non-free use disputed for Image:Summerheatbeachvball.jpg
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Summerheatbeachvball.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:56, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
