Talk:Dunlop Rubber

It seems the edit by Mhockey in relation to Dublin being part of the United Kingdom in the late 19th/ early 20th century, pertains to the occupational British force which was unrecognised as a sovereignty by the popluation of Ireland. This is why the previous alteration ( 207561045 ) was made by me to reflect this. Cmocallaghan (talk) 12:10, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, I think the precise status of Ireland is not the main point here. Whether or not you consider Dublin to have been part of the UK in the late 19th century, Dunlop Rubber itself (as opposed to the predecessor company formed in Dublin) was formed slightly later and was always an English company, not an Irish company.Mhockey (talk) 15:11, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
