[edit] Pronunciation
It isn't clear if the name is pronounced as written (ZOW-ee) or to rhyme with BOE-ee. Clarification and citation is required. -67.78.133.90 21:09, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
- On Bowie at the Beeb, John Peel specifically talks about Bowie's new child as being named 'Zowie, to rhyme with Bowie' (pronouncing it BOE-ee), as an introdution to "It Ain't Easy". --David Edgar 18:45, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
If someone cares enough to correct, the commonwealth-american school is in pully, a suburb of lausanne. joe jones, as he was then called was there until '82 at least. he was a grade below me.
[edit] Notability
If Bowie is merely notable as the son of David Bowie, he is not notable enough to have an article. Therefore, I've changed the first graph to "is a British ad executive" and moved the family info down to the early life section. Ckessler 20:42, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- is a mere "British ad executive" notable enough to have a wikipedia entry? Do all ad executives get one in that case? Just a thought...--Twizzlemas 19:41, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
- not sure if ad executives do, but as he is now a feature film director, I've changed it to that!
