Talk:Duncan Hallas
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I was in the SWP from 1989 to the mid nineties, and nobody as an orator came close to Hallas, and we once had the pleasure of having him, not at his best healthwise, coming to speak to our branch up in Northampton. I have never heard anybody able to put over the ideas of Marx, Lenin and Trotsky in such a straightforward way that has stayed with me since.
I remember another comrade, Paul, and we used to skip through the Marxism brochure every year just to see what Hallas was speaking on, and that's where you'd find us.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Deadmanonleave (talk • contribs) 09:47, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
