Dunrobin, Ontario

Dunrobin is a village comprised of farmland located north west of Ottawa, Canada. It lies along the Ottawa River, and is located at 45.18° latitude and 75.55° longitude. Dunrobin amalgamated with the city of Ottawa in 2000. Dunrobin is expanding steadily with a current population of about 1,000 people.

Dunrobin was settled in the 1800s at the corner of Dunrobin Road and Thomas Dolan Parkway. While originally started as an agricultural community it now services mostly as a bedroom community for Ottawa.

Dunrobin took its name from Dunrobin Castle near Inverness, Scotland.
