Dunlap's Creek Bridge

Dunlap's Creek Bridge was the first cast iron, metal arch bridge in the United States and was designed and built by Richard Delafield. It was constructed 1836-39 on the National Road in Brownsville, Pennsylvania and remains in use today. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark.
