Dundurn Press is a Canadian book publishing company, focusing on works of Canadian literature, history, biography, politics and arts. it was founded in 1972 by Kirk Howard.[1]

Dundurn’s editorial mandate to publish quality Canadian books in a wide variety of genres for domestic and international markets is being successfully maintained and expanded.

Since 1972, Dundurn's publishing programme expanded to include six imprints.

Dundurn - publishes serious non-fiction in the areas of history, biography and reference.

Castle Street Mysteries - publishes only books in the mystery genre.

Hounslow - publishes popular non-fiction, paranormal, trivia, and how-to books.

Simon and Pierre - publishes literary fiction, drama, and books about the theatre.

Boardwalk Books and Sandcastle Books - publish junior and teen novels and biographies.
