Dunbia is a meat-processing firm based in Granville, County Tyrone, near Dungannon, Northern Ireland. Until 2006, it was known as 'Dungannon Meats'.
The firm was founded by the Dobson brothers in 1976 as a butchers' shop and later started packing meat for local retailers. It moved to its Granville location in 1983. Over time the group expanded to supply international markets and UK supermarket chains, including Sainsbury's, Asda, Iceland and Co-op.
The firm also includes the former Rose County Foods site in Sawley, Lancashire, Oriel Jones and Son in Llanybydder, Wales and several sites in the Republic of Ireland. While the company's main concern is processing beef, lamb and pork, it also processes hides locally and in Italy.
