Welcome!

Hello, Dukebaker, and welcome to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

In addition, you are encouraged (but not required) to cite your sources. Wikipedia:Citation templates has some useful fill-in-the-blank type things that may make that easier, but feel free not to use them if you find them confusing.

You may want to look at some of Wikipedia's best work to get an idea of what we are aiming at.

You are invited to use your userpage to tell us a little about yourself; yours is here.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on this page (which is your talk page) and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. You also might be interested in being adopted by Wikipedia's Adopt-a-user program. Again, welcome!

[edit] Article about Formation of the Sun and Planets

I read your article about the formation of the sun and planets, and while it is interesting I regret to inform you that it's not exactly the kind of think Wikipedia looks for. Please look at some of the links in the welcome message above this, and also take a look at our policy on original research, which is what your contribution is. Also, you put your name on the article, and used "I" in it a lot, and described your credentials. Please read Wikipedia's page about how contributions are licensed in regards to copyright, to see why that's a mistake.

You are more than welcome to contribute your knowledge and expertiese to Wikipedia, and to describe your credentials on your userpage (it's linked in the welcome message above this). However, I hope you can understand why I have nominated your first contribution for deletion. ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 19:52, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

(In response to your comment on my talk page) Have you tried getting your theory published in a scientific journal? You might try ArXiv.org[1], or Physical Review D[2]. Look at scientific journal for more. ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 21:24, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the help. I'll try that approach. I was just hoping I could get the Wikipedians to jump me first. ````
