[edit] Vanguard News Network as a source

Interesting that a unc-ch fan would be using that anti-Semitic, white supremacist website as a source about DUKE University. Must tell us something, right? He says that he didn't know what the website represented, but how many people use an 'unknown' source when citing something? Hmm..... Duke53 | Talk 21:06, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

Huh?

"To show pictures of two individuals wearing garments demonstrates a lack of respect by Wikipedia and I think that it is a distortion of policy".

I am putting this here rather than have the image become 'orphaned' through the copyright process & mediation.

"We recently have seen the participation of Gwen Gale, but he/she appears to already have been burned out and is leaving. Are you going to join in or was Gwen taking filling in for you? Initially, this will take a high degree of effort to enroll Duke53 and Sqrjn in the process. They are very resistant to anything that opposes their POV. However, with effort from a neutral party I think success is possible".

[edit] User page being vandalized

Interesting that two three users from Utah have now seen fit to vandalize my user page; coinicidence? Nah, I don't think so.

[edit] To whom it may concern

The threatening item was that sent to my home through the USPS got here okay and is now in the hands of the Postal Inspectors; they seemed to be quite interested in it. The first thing they are doing is to check for toxic substances.

In this day and age of terrorism and stalking they take all threats seriously and will be working hard to discover who sent it.

Have a nice day. Duke53 | Talk 20:59, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks for your fight against censorship

After I reverted the first attempt by our anonymous (and presumably Mormon) friend yesterday to "improve" (i.e. censor) the Undergarment article, I find that he has made several more attempts today. Thanks for your work in preventing this. I have added a comment to his user page. Rodparkes 09:02, 11 April 2007 (UTC . .

[edit] Personal Attacks  ?

  • I just realized that Wiki is for fucking internet nerds. Write whatever you want, its not like professors or research organizations take your babble as worth more than a pile of shit. Dook53 is a nerd who lives in New Jersey and never went to dook. What a pathetic loser. Let us know if you ever get laid, dook53, In closing, fuck you all. <--- written by Ebtunc2006 ---> 02/29/08
  • Well that's about as cool as an internet dork can be. I've done everything I can to improve Duke and North Carolina articles, but I'm the one who is catching heat over the edits, even though mine are all sourced. Its okay if you want to back a poster who has had multiple interventions against him. My whole point is I have a much more fulfilling life than to argue a dook faggot, so I am leaving you nerds to jerk each other off. Like I said, wikipedia is a joke in institutions of higher learning, and this is what I get for stating te truth Ebtunc2006 (talk) 07:50, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] that wasnt an attack on Noah

It was a comment on the entirety of wiki editors, They're a lot of passive-aggressive douchebags. FACT —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ebtunc2006 (talk • contribs) 07:39, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Huh ?

This is getting weird ... won't WP admins be able to trace back and see where those edits came from ? Duke53 | Talk 16:44, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Big thanks to whoever hacked my account and took this war to another level. Good work. Ebtunc2006 (talk) 16:12, 29 February 2008

[edit] his request for help ?

(Isn't there a message that one places on one's talk page to get help from an admin? Experienced editors should know this). It's getting stranger still. Duke53 | Talk 21:58, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] request

If an administrator could figure out the IP that was responsible for the vandalism on my account, I would appreciate it. Ebtunc2006 (talk) 17:06, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Famous Final Scene ?
Shouldn't this user's allegations of 'someone' hijacking his old username to make vile edits, libelous comments and personal attacks be investigated before he is allowed to start editing under a new name? I would think that such allegations would be considered a serious breach of security at WP and should be investigated thoroughly so that similar incidents do not occur in the future. Thank You. Duke53 | Talk 13:35, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
It was my roommate(s), who initially denied it leading me to believe that my account had been hacked by someone who was not in favor of the tone or stance of my edits. I can offer nothing other than an apology for their actions, and the assurances they no longer have access to my computer. I am retiring from wikipedia editing, and haven't been active in some time. I am simply doing my best to exercise my right to vanish and disassociate their actions from my username. Cheers and God Bless. Hoopsphanatic (talk) 14:28, 4 Jun
