Talk:Duke of St Albans
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
From the London Gazette for 24 March 1750:
- Whitehall, March 27
- The King has been pleased to grant the Dignity of a Baron of the Kingdom of Great Britain unto the Right Honourable Vere Beauclerk, Esq; commonly called Lord Vere Beauclerk, by the Name, Stile, and Title of Baron Vere, of Hanworth in the County of Middlesex.
So the title's "Baron Vere", not "Baron Vere of Hanworth". Proteus (Talk) 16:15, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
