[edit] Speedy deletion of Rory McCann

A tag has been placed on Rory McCann requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Roleplayer (talk) 16:58, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you've been adding your signature to some of your article contributions, such as the edit you made to Antonia Bernath. This is a simple mistake to make and is easy to correct. For future reference, the need to associate edits with users is taken care of by an article's edit history. Therefore, you should use your signature only when contributing to talk pages, the Village Pump, or other such discussion pages. For a better understanding of what distinguishes articles from these type of pages, please see What is an article?. Again, thanks for contributing, and enjoy your Wikipedia experience! Thank you. It seems you are quite an excellent wikipedian! I apologise for putting my signature at the bottom of the page on Antonia Bernath, I am fairly new so therefore I don't have the wikipedian knowlege. sorry for causing you inconvenience! I really want to help wikipedians, like you helped me, but don't know where to start. I would love some advice!

Hi this is my talk page! Just give me a holler and i will reply.

[edit] Scotland

Hi

The ordering of the leaders at the Scotland article has been decided by a consensus of Wikipedia editors. Please do not change it without discussing it first. If you think the order should be different please explain why at Talk:Scotland and wait to see if a majority of editors agree with you. That is how Wikipedia works.

Thanks, and happy editing. DJ Clayworth (talk) 20:43, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for your message. As I said, if you believe that the ordering should be different for any reason you need to explain why at the Talk:Scotland page and wait to see if a majority of editors agree with you. If you have further messages for me you can write them here and I will see them. DJ Clayworth (talk) 20:46, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
I see no problem with listing the First Minister above the Brown, in the Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales articles. PS- I'm not sure if there's a 'First Minister' for England however. If there's no 'First Minister' for England? there might be problems with subverting Brown in these articles. GoodDay (talk) 21:19, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Hello there, just thought I'd let you know there is a vote going on at the Scotland talk page concerning the discussion you began. --Jack forbes (talk) 14:17, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Of course you can, everyone has the right to vote. --Jack forbes (talk) 19:19, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
