I've moved the page to Duchy of Lorraine because that seems a more appropriate location, in that it discusses the history of the duchy itself. john k 23:33, 12 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Contents

[edit] Division of Lorraine

In the second paragraph, it says : The Dukes of Lower Lorraine abandoned this style in favour of Duke of Brabant. What exactly does that mean? What style is it referring to? and to what style did they go? It just seems really confusing and nonsensical to me. Lensovet 22:47, Jun 19, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Coat of Arms

The Coat of Arms, although correct, is taken from the game Crusader Kings, by Paradox Interactive. Should I replace it with one that's not taken from a game?

If you have a higher-quality image, sure.

[edit] Duchy of Lotharingia??

Who moved this page here? Lorraine is by far the more common English name. john k 20:33, 7 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Lotharingia == Lorraine

There are too many articles on the same subject. Lorraine is the French word for Lotharingia. I suggest that the articles are being merged without offending political sensitivities. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.75.50.230 (talkcontribs) 09:31, September 26, 2006

Le == de la Lorraine de == de Lotharingia de == là sont trop d'articles sur le même sujet. La Lorraine est le mot français pour Lotharingia. Je propose que les articles soient fusionnés sans offenser des sensibilités politiques. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.113.130.215 (talk • contribs) 09:57, March 2, 2007
