[edit] Dubai
Hello DubaiTerminator, thank you for your comments. I am assuming that you read my user page. I should say that I have many exaggerations written there; but yes, I do like Dubai. Sadly, I have been disliking the city more and more over the past several months. I see the large number of problems that are being created as we speak, and I also see how the current problems are failing to be addressed (which are probably going unnoticed/ignored by the emirate's leaders). I also feel that the United Arab Emirates has so much potential for many different opportunities (including democracy among many others), but they fail to grasp them. Despite these sentiments, I still feel that Dubai is an amazing place. The forward-looking atmosphere that is so present in Dubai (and expanding to some extent to the rest of the Gulf) is something that I admire. I also praise Dubai for its demographics. It is very nice that so many people from so many different countries live in Dubai; something that I know will only provide a strong foundation for its future. There are many other things I would like to discuss, but I know that you do not want to read a book-length message. So, thank you again for your comments. I look forward to working with you in the future. Leitmanp (talk | contributions) 04:36, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Greg Sang
A tag has been placed on Greg Sang requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Thingg⊕⊗ 17:19, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
