Dubhagan comes from the Irish origins of my surname (Duggan). The original spelling of my surname is "O'Dubhagain", which means "Son/Descendant of Dubhagan". Dubhagan can be translated into English as "Little Black One".

I formerly went under the username JFred, which is a nickname my dad called me when I was younger. It is basically my first initial (James) and the short form of my middle name (Fredric).

In High School, I also had the nickname of Hacksaw because I share the same first and last name as the wrestler.

In 2001, I was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome.

In 2002, I graduated Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario with a diploma in Accounting.
