Talk:Dublin Pearse railway station
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Err, shouldn't this article be at Pearse Station? Admittedly it's a couple of years since I was last in Dublin, but if memory serves, the street outside the station was never renamed from Westland Row. I seem to remember all the station name signs say something like "Staisiun Piarsach/Pearse Station" (apologies for misspellings). -- Arwel 23:56, 8 Sep 2004 (UTC)

- I still think this is ugly and unneeded. The only reason Iarnród Éireann mention Dublin in conjunction with Pearse, Heuston and Connolly is so that people unfamiliar with the city don't get confused. It is not part of the proper station name, the stations are simply "Pearse Station", "Heuston Station" and "Connolly Station". Adding Dublin to the Wikipedia page titles is not required for disambiguation purposes.
- The only reason that we wouldn't simply have "Colbert Station", "Kent Station", etc. for the other main railway stations in Ireland is that these are not the most common names. zoney ♣ talk 13:09, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
