I reverted the changes by the person at 195.229.241.169. I can only assume the person wished to whitewash the history of the airport. This person was coming from a UAE IP address. -Joseph (Talk) 14:14, 2004 Oct 29 (UTC)

This whole article reads like a promotion for the airport. Especially the introduction using phrases like "a new 140 km² airport that will help handle the influx of travelers well into the future", and the section about Dubai Duty Free. I agree 100% this article is not of a NPOV, people keep adding promotional rubbish to it. Over the last few days I have seen numerous edits that are not of a NPOV. Y4kk 19:08, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
A lot of the problem is caused by the insertion of copyright material. Some of it is taken from the official site, in particular from here and here. Other material is taken from here. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 23:33, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

Image:DXB logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. There used to be many images on this page. What happened to them? Also, Mohammed Hasanie (Talk|Contributions) tried to add the images. Why were they deleted? I think that this article is better with the images showing the airport and all the construction. --Leitmanp 04:27, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

I wouldn't say Dubai is the largest city in the UAE. The Largest city in the UAE is Abu Dhabi which is also the capital. I'd edit it but I don't know what to replace it with :S —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.246.174.234 (talk) 09:41, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

The statement is correct. Dubai (the city) is larger (by population) than Abu Dhabi (the city). But the Emirate of Dubai is smaller (by population and geographic size) than the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. --Leitmanp (talk | contributions) 21:12, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
