[edit] rewrite

Wow.... I wish someone would rewrite this article... Especially the first paragraph. It makes no sense... It says that a wheel is a dub if it's 20", then it says it's a dub if its 22" Also, it says that the term "dub" originated from the marijuana industry, because some people refer to a 20 sack of marijuana as a "dove" or "dove sack". I've never heard that term used before, but I've frequently heard people refer to "dub sacks"... so it would make more sense that the term "dub" for wheels would be based on "dub sacks" and not "dove sacks" 209.191.166.202 18:46, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Possible WP:V / WP:NOR violations

Hi all,

I saw that the {{prod}} I put up was removed, so I thought I'd just put down some of the issues I have with the article here in the hopes that they get improved. Basically, I have serious concerns that this article fails WP:V and WP:NOR, not to mention WP:N. While I have no doubts that 20s are referred to as dubs (hell; I heard it in a Chamillionaire song earlier today), this article has zero sources to support it, which means it falls into the realm of original research. I found this article through an editor's attempt to contest my tagging of an article he wrote on "skrilla" for deletion on similar grounds by pointing out that other slang articles exist including this one.

So the short version is that this article is dangerously close to being nominated for AfD, and I thought that rather than nominating it myself it would be more constructive to summarize the concerns that exist here so it can hopefully be improved into a quality article. Thanks, and happy editing! --jonny-mt(t)(c) 06:01, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
