Dubai British School

Dubai British School is a new Beacon school in Dubai, United Arab Emirates which opened in 2005. It accommodates for nursery, primary and secondary students. It is located in the Emirates Hills area of Dubai. Dubai British School has a large sphere of influence expanding as far as Sharjah. It currently accommodates around 500 students in both primary and secondary schools. The school did quite well in the recent examinations with 92% of students getting 5 or more GCSE at grade A*-C. From Foundation 1(nursery) all the way up to Year 13.

The school is run by three main figures: Valerie Thomas-Peter (principal), Peter Moore (head of primary) and Pierre Scottorn (the acting head of secondary). The six supporting members of the school are Sally Chapman, Georgina Williams, Serena Thomas, Khan Brewer, Rob Kimura-Davies and Iain Thomas.
