Ch33 was a television channel transmitting terrestrially out of Dubai in English targeting the expat community in the UAE. It was founded in 1977. It started transmitting over the satellite in 2002 using Arabsat and Nilesat. In 2004 it changed its identity completely and is now known as Dubai One and is part of DMI.

It used to show a lot of up to date US, UK and Australian based programs as well as some Canadian programs. It was watched by all of Dubai community, local and expats.

Dubai One turned out to be a much more successful and entertaning channel than Ch33 was. CH33 was popular for broadcasting latest bollywood(Hindi) movies every Thursday. Popular Hindi flim ceremony Zee Cine Awards 2004 was also shown in Feb.2004 that took place in Dubai which was a huge success.

Programs shown on CH33 were Yan can cook, Saved by the bell, Neighbours, The fresh prince of Bel Air, USA High, City Guys, Sinbad, Here and Now, Jack of all trades, Empty nest, The golden girls, Doogie Howser M.D., The wonder years, Dallas, Ghostwriter, Square one TV, Falcon crest, Beverly Hills 90210, The smart guy, Seinfeld, Everybody loves Raymond, Dynasty, Cosby, Malcolm and Eddie, Spellbinder, etc...
