Born in Mishawaka, Indiana on July 27, 1965, Duane Kline [1] has devoted his life to teaching and learning. A graduate of John Adams High School in South Bend, Indiana, Purdue University (B.A.), West Georgia College (M.Ed.) and Georgia State University (Ed.S.), he has taught high school English, led a program working with high dropout risk students, has been a middle school assistant principal and now serves as principal at Jackson High School in Jackson, Georgia.
He is married to Anne (Welling) and has two children, Hannah and Aaron.
He continues to learn at the feet of his savior, Jesus Christ, and is constantly amazed at the grace extended to him. He shares the love Christ has shown him through missionary travels to Hungary where he and his family get to love their friends every summer.
A Lutheran his entire life, he is a member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Stockbridge, Georgia, where he is always glad to see the faces of friends and friends he hasn't met yet!
Duane is an avid cigar aficianado, wine and bourbon connoisseur, reader, essayist, amateur photographer, blogger and occasional poet. He lives to see the day the Chicago Cubs win the World Series. Oh, yeah, he loves macaroni and cheese and green bean casserole...
