Tipperary won the 2 competitions as well in the same year —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.79.41.244 (talk • contribs)

If you can cite it put it in. Afn 12:19, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

Tipperary actually have done it twice and i will check Cork and other counties and add it in. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.79.41.244 (talk • contribs)

Actually what I wrote was correct, Cork are the only county to win both the Liam McCarthy and Sam Maguire cups. Tipperary won both championships in 1895 and 1900 but the modern cups were not rewarded. Afn 13:18, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

So in essence your saying that since the introduction of the cups that the competitions before them have no bearing on the competitions today ? Thats madness. Caismirt 09:12, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

Yes, it is madness! I was half joking. Have got rid of any mention of sam or liam. Afn 13:33, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
