Duane Mann was a New Zealand rugby league player who represented and captained both the New Zealand Kiwis and Tonga.

Duane is part of the Mann clan that has a large presence in rugby league with his father Don Mann representing New Zealand, Esau Mann playing for Tonga and his brother Don Mann the current Football Manager of the New Zealand Warriors.

He attended Kelston Boys High School and played for the Glenora Bears from schoolboys right up to premier grade.

In 1989 he first made the New Zealand national side and from 1989 to 1993 played in 24 consecutive tests. In 1994 he was made captain of the side.

In 1990 he signed for the Warrington Wolves in the English League and played there for three years before being signed by the Auckland Warriors who were to enter the Australian Rugby League competition in 1995. Returning home, he played a season for the North Harbour Sea Eagles who he captained to a Lion Red Cup win. His single season for the Warriors was a disappointment as Syd Eru replaced him as the first choice hooker in both the Warriors and the New Zealand Kiwis national side. He left the Warriors in 1996 and returned to the Lion Red Cup, joining the Counties Manukau Heroes.

He captained Tonga in both the 1995 and 2000 World Cup's.

He occasionally is involved in coaching with the Tongan national side, in 2006 he was co-coach of the team that won the Pacific Cup

Duane currently works as a Coaching Development Manager for Sports Auckland and occasionally works as a commentator and presenter on Sky TV.
