Duane Burghard

Duane Burghard is an American businessman and politician. In 2006 he was the Democratic challenger to conservative Republican incumbent Kenny Hulshof in Missouri's 9th congressional district. Burghard lost to Hulshof, but expressed his intention to run again in 2008.

Burghard graduated from University of Missouri and was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy in 1987.

He owns the MacXprts Network, a Missouri-based Apple Specialist reseller and service provider. Burghard started it over fifteen years ago, and now has storefronts in six states and is one of the largest independent Apple dealers in North America.
