DU Beat is an independent student newspaper created by the students of Delhi University, India. Founded in 2007, DU Beat reaches out to more than 12,000 students from 15 colleges across Delhi University through its online and print edition.
The colleges mapped by the newspaper include Lady Shri Ram College for Women, St. Stephen's College, Delhi, Sri Venkateswara College, Kirori Mal College, Shri Ram College of Commerce, Hindu College, University of Delhi and Miranda House.
Recent activities include an online petition to reintroduce the BA English (Hons) entrance exam.[1]
