[edit] Fair-use rationale
- This poster is non-reproducible material that for a short time appeared on different Belgrade city walls in connection to Dnevni telegraf's forced exile.
- Including the poster within the article's body enhances it greatly by providing a reader with immediate relevance that otherwise cannot be achieved textually.
- Including the poster does not in any way prevent its copyright owner from exploiting it commercially.
- The inclusion of this particular poster in a widely read info source (which Wikipedia obviously is) is very much in line with it's creator's original purpose who wanted to spread the word about the repression he and his newspaper were experiencing during fall 1998.
[edit] Licensing
This image is of a poster, and the copyright for it is most likely owned by either the publisher or the creator of the work depicted. It is believed that the use of scaled-down, low-resolution images of posters
qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law. Any other uses of this image, on Wikipedia or elsewhere, may be copyright infringement. See Wikipedia:Non-free content for more information. |
