[edit] License tagging for Image:Myspeciallovefrontvinylalbum.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Myspeciallovefrontvinylalbum.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:07, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Latoya_jackson.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Latoya_jackson.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Your message
- When you leave a message, please create a new section; don't just tag it on someone else's message.
- You need to say what it's about — what article are you talking about (that should usually be the section title, linked).
- You need to sign it, so that I know who you are (using four tildes: ~~~~).
- (And this might explain the first three) You need to calm down a little. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 22:12, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair-use image
That looks fine; the only thing that's missing now is the fair-use rationale ("To the uploader: please add a detailed fair use rationale for each use, as described on Wikipedia:Image description page, as well as the source of the work and copyright information."). If you don't add one, an image-patrol editor will probably pretty quickly add a template asking for one. You can check other images of the same kind to see how they do it. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 19:53, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Wait a Minute.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Wait a Minute.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 19:25, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
