What is this page for?

This page is for other Wikipedians to talk to you. Like I'm doing now. What follows is the standard welcome message to Wikipedia:

Welcome!

Hello, Drumster, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  That being said, the article "Jay Mody" that you created has been deleted as it did not assert the notability of the person described (see Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion, Articles, point 7). It is Wikipedia policy that autobiographies are not acceptable. You may, however, describe yourself on your user page. For your convenience, the text of the deleted article is reproduced below:

Jay Mody, 21, Aquarian, Bombayite, Rocker, Drummer, Webdesigner, Rebel, No Longer Single, Drinks Beer and Water, Eats just about anything on the face of this earth.

Thanks! --Angr/tɔk tə mi 08:39, 22 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Drumster

Drumster has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt this website might not yet be notable enough for an article. Please review Wikipedia:Notability (websites) for the relevant guidelines. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.

If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" notice, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod notice, the deletion process will stop, but if an editor is still not satisfied that it meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion for consensus.
