[edit] input sought

In a message to several recent editors of Schiavo-related pages, I write that: Input is sought here: Talk:Government_involvement_in_the_Terri_Schiavo_case#Edit_War_between_me_and_User:Calton.

[edit] Websites against paypal

Read the talk page. These websites have been discussed several times and deemed to be inappropriate.--Crossmr 18:02, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Actually it was an arbcom ruling which determined that attack sites were inappropriate. They did agree on the talk page if a reliable source, like a news article (genuine) were to do a story on fraud or something on paypal and the article linked to the attack site, that would be fine, but there isn't supposed to be any direct linking to attack sites, at least on the en wikipedia.--Crossmr 19:51, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Three revert rule

Please read WP:3RR before continuing editing the Rorschach inkblot test article. Best wishes/ Pax:Vobiscum 21:16, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rorschach inkblot test

I understand that you have strong opinions regarding the Rorschach inkblot test, but please remain civil under all circumstances. Calling other people troll when they are engaging in actual discussion is not very nice. Best wishes/ Pax:Vobiscum 19:40, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rorschach link

Please note that the link was done specifically that way to allow functionality without Javascript. There had been a lot of complaints that clicking the wikilink did not work for people who had Javascript disabled. Please discuss on Talk page before reverting. Thank you. Ward3001 (talk) 16:04, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

There was a consensus to have the link the way it was. Wikipedia operates by consensus, not by your personal preferences. If you continue to revert and start an edit war, I will make a vandalism report. Ward3001 (talk) 15:41, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
"i haven't found the discussion about the consensus": There was discussion and consensus. Read the Talk page. I had no difficulty finding it. Ward3001 (talk) 17:25, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
"are you out of mind?...Have you got it?": Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Ward3001 (talk) 17:25, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
No offense, but did you read the Talk page? It's not in the archives, but it is discussed in different places on the Talk page. Do a search for "java". Some of the the finds are not relevant, but many discuss the issue. Ward3001 (talk) 18:31, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Let me suggest that you raise the issue on the article's Talk page before making any changes. That would be the courteous, "consensus" way to do it. Remember, blind adherence to the letter of the law is not always in the best interest of Wikipedia, and there are exceptions to every rule. I think if you explain your points on the Talk page, within a day or two you'll get some responses. Ward3001 (talk) 20:12, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Well, I'm a bit surprised that no one has responded. Give it a day or two past the weekend. If no one comments, then be my guest to make the change without any interference from me. Ward3001 (talk) 20:26, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Suppressors

Thanks for your correction re: "special forces" vs. "law enforcement" - I learn something everyday! GMan552 (talk) 18:34, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
