I think the opening paragraph is innaccurate and misleading. I have no problem with my contribution being moved however I think the line "In Western countries, drum circles have some association with Hippie counterculture." should be removed from the opening paragraph. Unless it is balanced with other cultural associations..Freddythehat 09:01, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Perhaps a section on the types of drum commonly found in circles, or in each type, would be useful. I came here thinking of the "anarchic drum circle" type, wondering what sort are common. ovb Djembe,but what others?Jugglerpete (talk) 21:45, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
