[edit] Image Tagging Image:Scarcult.jpg
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Scarcult.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. TomStar81 08:51, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
- It looks good, the only thing missing is an external link to the site where you obtained the image from. Once that is edited into the picture description all points raised will have been adressed, and the {{nosource}} tag can be removed. TomStar81 00:03, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Great Ten
Where did you get "Reshaped by Durlan DNA technology, his own skin is biometal hide."? Please cite that. Thanks. --Chris Griswold 17:57, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
Checkmate, issue #4. I'll correct the page accordingly, thanks DrTofu83 18:15, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
- No problem. I just missed CHeckmate #4, so I hadn't seen such a mention before. --Chris Griswold 22:03, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
You did well giving me a warn, that was a so tiny reference that had to be sourced well. DrTofu83 22:11, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Abbot and A'Daire articles
By the way, good call on the Abbot and A'Daire articles. I was just about to request them. --Chris Griswold 22:04, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
Thanks. I've put my scanner and GIMP in activity to sort out a good herobox too. I hope I did well, the image I took can be considered fair use and the Bennett drawing is really fitting for them. And being so important in the 52 event they deserved a well rounded profile. Thank also Ipstenu for fixing the whole section thing. DrTofu83 22:11, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Sprimepr.jpg listed for deletion
- I've just read it's currently an orphan, replaced by a png version, so I think I prefer it removed. Thank you for dropping a message. --DrTofu83 15:35, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] OMAC Page
I just wanted to thank you for making the page for Michael Costner (OMAC), I've been waiting for it to be made. So thank you very much for taking the time to make it. RyuKlinge 07:33, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Katekane.JPG)
Thanks for uploading Image:Katekane.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 16:33, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- There's a missing image where Katekane.JPG once was... I'll wait for a correction, then, if no image is turned on, I'll put back on Kate, thanks. DrTofu83 19:11, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Indigo.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Indigo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 07:15, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
