[edit] Vandal warnings
Welcome, and thanks for doing recent changes patrol. You may want to check out WP:RCP#Vandalism for a selection of warnings that can be applied in various situation. The "this is the only warning you will receive" warning (such as you applied here has limited application, and personally speaking, I almost never block people if that is, in fact, the only warning they have received. Cheers. Dina 20:48, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
- Got it; thanks for the advice, although that particular item of vandalism reflected an unusual level of determination. Thx. --Drtillberg 01:38, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Hello
Hi. I just thought I'd mention that it might be a good idea to check the last few edits to an article (if possible) when patrolling recent changes, rather than just the last edit. I say this because I noticed you revert some vandalism on the Rugrats article, but the version you reverted to had also been vandalised. It looks like two accounts were working together to produce vandalism in quick succession, hoping that you'd do exactly what you did! Have a look at the history of the Rugrats page and you'll see it. So, while you do sterling work at recent changes, it would be even better if you could check the last couple of edits before the edit you're reverting :-) Hope that's doable. - Thanks for the tip. I often check more than just the edit I'm reverting, but not always and it is helpful to see how that particular scheme works. The real problem, though, is that there were two different kinds of vandalism ... one obvious and one not as obvious. The second one that I didn't revert was far more subtle. --Drtillberg 02:44, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] User:Rytude
Hi there. I have gone ahead and reverted User:Rytude's edits at School of Oriental and African Studies. The material is copyvio from the SOAS website. Cheers. — mholland (talk) 15:34, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
- I should have known. Thanks. --Drtillberg 18:25, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Can you help me fix it?

[edit] Mark Reynolds, master of the universe
I just came across the guy that created the article that you found for Mark Reynolds, the master of the universe. He seems to have created another one, Mark L. Reynolds, before the first was deleted. Imagine if someone proposed merging them :-) Nyttend 21:17, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- I saw that after you found the second page. I thought I was seeing double. --Drtillberg 21:19, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Brotherhood 2.0
Howdy. This is my first real article addition to WP so maybe you can help me. (Just as a reminder for you, you marked it for removal.) I'm trying to find citations and web references that are not from blog sources (or doesn't that matter?), but I don't see how this is an extension of the vlog project. I don't see a real difference between the articles for Brotherhood 2.0 and The Office, for example. What should I be doing to keep the page from being deleted, or is that simply not possible? It's an interesting sociological project that's becoming more and more popular and I think it's noteworthy. And no, it's not my vlog. :-) -Mangler 23:52, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
- (bump) I replied to you in my User page discussion, but I'm not sure if you get a heads-up unless I post here. Sorry if this is redundant. -Mangler 00:35, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Atta
On what basis do you consider Mohamed Atta to be living, as you stated here [1] Perhaps you might use a different warning in this case. Regards.Edison 03:56, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

I put a stop to all that nonsense going on over there. Sheesh. =\ Thanks for helping revert all of that. =) -- Gogo Dodo 00:09, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- Re your message: I see they moved over to some of other characters. Very unhealthy obsession they have. Oh well, at least they stopped. -- Gogo Dodo 04:01, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
