Completed pre-clinical medical studies at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge University. Graduated in 2002 with BA (MA in 2005) following Part II in Pathology with Medical Ethics & Law.

Subsequntly contiued post-clinical studies at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge and graduated in 2004 with MB BChir.
