[edit] Jew Category
{{Helpme}} Why is that articles about almost all jewish people have religious categories in them like "American Jews" while most articles about non-jewish people do not have religious categories? Now don't tell me these categories are relavent because most the times they are not.
- There are categories for many groups (religions, races, nationalities), because they can be useful to readers. There actually is a Category:American Christians, and there are many, many people listed in that category. Users who are interested in certain groups of people find it useful to be able to browse a list of people who are part of that group, and a category is the most efficient way to allow that function. -FisherQueen (talk ยท contribs) 23:32, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
